Hey there!
Just some ramblings. What do you read? Fiction? Non-fiction? Which writers?
I read a lot. I try to read something from a new writer (like myself) as often as I can, but I do have my favorites.
I've always preferred the "old masters". Even the very old ones, like Charles Dickens, but I do try to keep it a little more recent, so I read Graham Greene, John Steinbeck, Ernest Hemingway, Isaac Bashevis Singer, etc. I do read some older writers (I call them the "in-between-old"), like Dostoyevski, W. Somerset Maugham and Joseph Conrad.
I am not much into genres, but I've liked a sci-fi read at times, from writers like Ray Bradbury and Isaac Asimov. And I must mention a much more modern writer in the sci-fi genre: Hugh Howey.
Most non-fiction I read relates to book writing and such. And there are tons and tons of books out there on that. Most just present the same material in their own way, so it can get rather boring at times.
I would appreciate if you would like to leave a comment on what you read and what you like about your read. I am always interested in that.
Well, seeing as how I am not going to even think about payment for your valuable time, I will leave it at this for now (can you see the smile? Nahhhh, that's not true!)
Until soon.
